Kingston, Ontario

September 01, 2016

Kingston, a city with a population of ~125k in Eastern Ontario, was named the very first capital of Canada in 1841.
Although this was short lived, Kingston remained an important military installation in the country's history.

While here, I
tried kitesurfing for the first time (what a thrill!!),
admired various heritage properties, enjoyed the 1000 Island Cruise,
walked around the beautiful campus of Queen's University (founded in 1841).
